About
Dr. Vaughn G Tsoutsouris
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Vaughn Tsoutsouris, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist at the Phoenix Institute for Psychotherapy-Mental Health Center (PIP-MHC). He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in 2012. He has trained at the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC), an inpatient substance abuse rehabilitation center, a neuropsychological assessment practice, and a general group practice. Dr. Tsoutsouris' approach to treatment is to bring forward the most authentic part of people, the one that is often motivated towards development, self-understanding, and enlightenment. He believes the relationship between the therapist and the patient in the present moment offers profound occasions for such growth to take place. Being in private practice, Dr. Tsoutsouris' schedule is quite flexible and he is willing to see people in the morning, evenings, and possibly on weekends. He feels comfortable treating a number of common life difficulties, including anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties.
